Our products are perishable and are susceptible to mould formation if not stored correctly, especially in periods or areas of high humidity. If your product is sent vacuum-sealed in plastic, upon receipt please remove immediately and place in the PAPER BAGS provided. Store in a well-ventilated area, preferably under a fan (not in a cupboard).
Wetter biltong can be kept in the fridge for short periods. In this case, allow to warm to room temperature for the best taste!
For pre-packaged biltong bags, once opened the oxygen scavenger must be discarded.
